I know you don’t want to hear this, but WINTER is coming! As sneakerheads we all know that wearing your prized kicks in the winter is probably the biggest risk you will take. The cold, snow, slush and dare I say it…the SALT! I shutter just thinking about it. The question is what do you do for those pretty much 6 to 8 grueling months of harsh weather? For some they rock their Timberlands and other various boots…but at the end of the day sneakerheads need their sneakers all year long through all weather conditions.

Seems like the people at Nike have decided to take the winter months more serious for the sneaker community. Check out the Nike Lunardom 1 Sneakerboot Pack. Really take it in…these joints will really have the heads turning when you walk by in these boots that look like they were developed by alien technology. Before I go on I would like to share something that really had me REALLY EXCITED! It looks like Nike is putting this in their All Condition Gear aka ACG catalogue, which may mean that we as sneakerheads may see this brand of Nike’s resurface! Please retro the ACG catalogue PLEASE!!!

Right off the bat you should notice that these sneakerboots are far from normal. The wavy lines all over the upper will have you seasick if you stare at it too long. If you know anything about the latest sneaker technology from Nike you would hear “Lunarlon”, but they usually only utilize this technology in the soles of the sneakers. Well, they took it to the extreme with this sneaker and used the technology throughout the whole sneaker. Lunarlon is known for being very light and comfortable, so a whole sneaker made out of this technology would be unreal with levels of comfort.

The Nike Lunardome 1 Sneakerboot Pack comes in 2 colourways so far which are Black/Black – Dark Grey and Volt/Volt – Black. I can pretty much bet that a lot of people will think that these sneakers are the Foamposites 2015. There hasn’t been anything released like this in a long time and as we all know the winter is a long season so be prepared to see funky kicks like this all winter long. It is said that not only are these sneakers very comfortable, but they are extremely durable as well, which is a MUST for the winter time.
