New Balance Reigns Supreme

For those of you that call yourselves sneaker heads and don’t know about this shoe, you should be ashamed of yourselves. This classic runner has survived the test of time and is one of the rare throw-backs that have gotten better over the years.  Any shoe enthusiast would agree that this signature sneaker earns a legitimate spot in the shoe hall of fame.

Much credit is due to the head honchos at New Balance for paying close attention to the urban market which has inspired some of the most creative styles, colours and fabric combinations ever displayed on a sneaker. I own 6 pairs in various colours and that’s a far cry from some people I know that have double that amount. This shoe scores big points on simplicity and comfort and is available in countless colours and styles to suit all tastes.

I’ve taken these shoes through countless Caribana parades and last summer on a trip to Las Vegas. They helped me survive the long trek walking the Vegas strip in the scorching heat at 1pm. Without hesitation the New Balance 574s can be the most comfortable shoe you’ll ever own. So a big salute to New Balance and if anyone knows where I can get a pair of burgundy leather with grey accents please drop me a line.
